Terms of use
Short, because a website is not an engineering engagement. These terms cover reading this site and writing to us through it.
General information only
Everything on this site describes how Strata Engineering Solutions works and the kind of projects it has been involved in. It is general information. It is not engineering advice for any particular structure, and nothing here should be relied on in place of a review or design carried out for you under an agreed scope.
No engagement until a proposal is signed
Sending an enquiry, or receiving a reply to one, does not make Strata your engineer. An engagement begins only when a written proposal naming the scope, the deliverables and the fee has been accepted by both sides. Until then, neither side owes the other anything beyond ordinary confidentiality of what has been shared.
Accuracy
We keep this site as accurate as we can and correct it when we learn something is out of date. Figures such as material savings are described as indicative ranges from past work, not as a promise for yours. Credentials and registrations are stated as they stand on the date shown at the foot of each page.
What belongs to whom
The text, the Strata name and mark, the X-ray visualisation and the site design are ours. Project photographs and renderings are shown to illustrate the kind of work we do; rights in the buildings they show stay with their owners and designers. You may link to any page and quote short extracts with attribution. Please ask before reproducing anything else.
Links and third parties
Where the site links to other organisations, we are not responsible for what they publish. How we handle anything you send us is set out in the privacy notice.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Strata is not liable for loss arising from reliance on the general information on this site. Liability under an engagement is governed by that engagement's proposal and contract, not by these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. The current version is always the one published here.
